Different capacitors have different advantages depending on the scope of our application. Polyester film capacitors are organic film capacitors, also known as polyester capacitors. The utility model is characterized in that a metal foil or a metal film is used as an electrode, and a polyethylene terephthalate (polyester) film is used as a medium, which is wound and formed into a plastic shell and sealed. Some capacitors are formed by encapsulating a core that is formed into a colored epoxy resin. A capacitor fabricated using a metal film electrode is referred to as a metallized polyester film capacitor.


Polyester film capacitors have excellent mechanical, electrical and optical properties, and are therefore used in a wide range of applications, such as photographic film, tape, video tape, microfilm, packaging film and capacitors. Such a capacitor uses a metallized polyester film, a non-inductive winding structure, and has a wide capacity range, small volume, and light weight. Therefore, the installation is also relatively convenient, not only that, the polyester film capacitor has good self-healing properties and long service life. At the same time, the polyester film capacitor is also encapsulated with a flame retardant epoxy powder.


From a professional point of view, such capacitors are the most suitable choice for applications where stability is critical due to their high stability. For example, on electronic instruments or meters and radios, it can be used as a coupling or a bypass. For the polyester film capacitor, not only the above advantages but also strong heat resistance and moisture resistance are obtained. At the same time, it also has a certain pressure resistance.
