(1) The capacitance per unit volume is particularly large. The lower the operating voltage, the more prominent this feature is. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for miniaturization and large capacity of capacitors. For example, the CO26 type low-voltage large-capacity aluminum electrolytic capacitor has a specific capacity of about 300 "/cm3, and the low-voltage chip ceramic capacitors of other metallized paper capacitors which are also characterized by miniaturization generally do not exceed 2 "/cm3.


(2) Aluminum electrolytic capacitors have "self-healing" characteristics during operation.
